What the core material changes
MR plywood suits dry zones and keeps budgets tight. BWP (marine) plywood is what we recommend for the entire wet run below the counter — it survives the everyday splash-and-mop reality of an Indian kitchen. HDHMR gives the flattest surface for Duco paint.
Finish, ranked by cost
Laminate is the value workhorse. Acrylic gives a high-gloss, seamless look. Duco (spray PU) allows any RAL shade and a hand-finished depth that laminate cannot match, and it is finished in our own Sarjapura paint booth.
Where people overspend
Tall units in low-ceiling flats, gadget-heavy corner mechanisms that get used twice a year, and glass shutters in a household with small children. Spend on drawers, soft-close channels and lighting instead — you touch those every single day.
How we quote
We measure on site, lock the layout, then price line-by-line: carcass, shutters, hardware, counter cut-outs, lighting and edgebanding. Because we manufacture in-house on an Altendorf saw and Biesse edgebander, there is no dealer margin stacked on top.
